Malin Kundang and his mother had to die because they died when they were babies. Malin Kundang is a healthy, diligent, and strong child. He usually goes out to sea to catch fish. After catching the fish, he will take it to his mother, or sell the fish caught in the city. One day, when Malin Kundang was sailing, he saw a merchant ship being raided by a group of pirates.
